By invitation only, the Scholars Program provides extra educational opportunities for high achieving students to prepare for college life and to elevate their college or university applications. Students may apply after one semester at CATS Academy Boston, and are selected based on academic excellence, passion for learning, and understanding of the importance of service.
Students must be in Grades 10, 11 or 12, and may apply after one semester at CATS Boston. Scholars are selected based on academic excellence, passion for learning, and understanding of the importance of service.
As a CATS Boston scholar, you will regularly visit universities and colleges to gain an understanding of life after high school. You also make regular cultural trips such as trips to museums, places of historical interest, orchestra recitals, sports games and more. Previous trips include seeing a professor from Stanford speak at MIT on the future of clean energy, and the head of the Government department at Harvard speak on Russian-American relations.
